Welcome to my page! I’m so glad you are here! My name is Chelsie Bates and I’m the proud Owner & Operator of Velvet & Vine Hair Studio! I’m an Elite Master Stylist with 9 years of experience behind the chair! My specialities include blonding, lived- in hair color, extensions, balayage techniques and precision cutting. I’m also a Certified Scalp Specialist trained with Briogeo, as well as a Business Graduate of Shawnee State University. Along with my passion for the hair industry, I created a one-of-a-kind Hairstylist and Client Clothing Brand! My love for the beauty industry even extends further with my Certification in Permanent Jewelry as I’m a Permanent Jewelry Artist. All of my passions come from my love for making people look and feel good! My goal each and every day is to make my guests glow from the inside out! Perfecting my craft and continued education are so important to me, as well as making my guests feel at home and comfortable in my chair! There is nothing more satisfying than a smiling face looking back in the mirror once our time together is complete! I pay close attention to detail and strive to communicate and understand where my guests hair journey will take them! I’d love to meet you and go on this beautiful hair journey together!
